There are seven main food groups.

We need water and carbohydrates in fairly large amounts as our body is 70% water and we need carbohydrate for energy.

If we take in too much food, especially carbohydrate and fats, we will become overweight or even obese.

It will lead to weight loss and the person may become ill.

A problem which may occur due to a lack of certain vitamins or minerals.

Lack of vitamin C.
