Clues

  • 1 - protestor must be sure that the moral case for disobedience outweighs the case for obeying the law. (5, 2, 7)
  • Governments should be led by experts therefore there is no need to rebel. (5, 7, 7)
  • Rebellion is forbidden as it leads to the S.O.N. They are not good as they undermine the Leviathan but can be justified if you win or you life is being threatened personally. (6, 7, 7)
  • Rebellion is justified when fighting against an undemocratic government, if your opinion refects majority viewpoints or if gov threaten private property. Gov is only legit if it respects our natural rights. (5, 3, 7)
  • Revoloutions are the best for a fair society. Capitalism results in an inevitable revouloution, workers work hard, bosses by machinery with excess profit. Small changes are pointless need to be RADICAL,overthrow the whole gov controlled by the riche (4, 3, 7)
  • The degree of protest must be proportionate to the injustice. Must be a public act not for personal gain. Must have moral sense with no violence & must not undermine a government. (5, 5, 2, 7)
  • We can all think for ourselves, a healthly society needs to think in different ways , no certain truth, we are expert at our lives thus liberty allows diversity. MAX amount of privacy - the state being a 'nightwatchman' (4, 3, 7)
  • When a law harms you/others or you deem it to be immoral (4, 2, 7, 2)
