Hitler Appointed Chancellor
It was up to the President to appoint the Chancellor and Hindenburg (the President) didn't like Hitler. He didn't trust him, he disliked the violence used by the SA and thought Hitler lacked the status for high office.
Why did Hindenburg change his mind and appoint Hitler Chancellor in January 1933?
