Generally speaking, poverty is often viewed by many Christians as the result of human greed and the failure to share the plenteous resources of the world. The concept of stewardship states that because all things belong to God, the money should be shared out equally, rather than treated like it belogns to just certain people. These Christians think that nobody's money is their own. 

Other Christians view poverty as a divine punishment by God for the sins of a poor person in their early life, but because many people are born poor, sometimes this argument is missed out…
