Creative play;

Being creative is not just about painting, drawing and making things. It also involves children thinking of ideas, experimenting and expressing themselves in different ways. It can include; sewing, weaving, model making, dancing and enjoying music. Using different materials can help children express themselves. The most important part of creative play is the 'doing' and the taking part in activities. Children will be learning through experimenting with different materials and objects.

Role play;

Children are naturally imaginative. They love to dress up and be different people, taking charge of the person they are being and choosing what happens to them. This is recognised as role play. Children can take on the role of mummy…
