Not everyone is tolerant of cultural diversity so multural respect is key

Some people are Prejudice - They think badly of someone without good reason

Sometimes its because of Stereotypes - Commonly held beliefs about a certain group of people

Discrimintion - Treating someone unfairly because of prejudices

Discrimination can be direct (verbally abusing) or indirect (making rules that disadvantage a race)

The 2001 'race riots' in Bradford and Oldham were due to racial tensions caused by intolerance
