Education as an idelogical status-
- The main role of education in a capitalist society as the reproduction of an efficient and obidiant labour force - the reproduction of technical skills.
- Reproduction of ruling class idelogy (deominant beliefs and values) and the socialization of workers into accepting this.
The reproduction of class inequalities-
- Legitimizing class inequlities and reproducing the class structure.
