- Heart is located in the thoracic cavity between the lungs and behind the sternum, itis enclosed in a fiborous bag made from inelastic connective tissue called the pericardium.
- The hearet is a muscular double pump divided into two halves, each of which contain two chambers.
- The wall of the heart is made from mainly myocardium, that consists of cardiac muscle.

- They oxygenated blood to the heart muscle.
