Printing
certain stages must be carried out before the actual printing process takes place
Pre press stages
> check artwork ( printer checks fonts, colours and quality of pictures)
>colour seperation - our eyes merge tiny dots together to create the whole spectrum of colours, a printer uses four colours, CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) the printer must seperate the orginal artwork into colours, sometimes a special colour can be added to the four colour process. when the printer has sperated the colours, the CMYK colours will be added in different densties to create the whole spectrum.
