screen printing: more commonly used for artsistic purposes. Used to make multiple amounts of 2d designs on a variety of materials, such as; fabric, plastic and paper. The screen made of wire is fixed to a wooden frame, a stencil for the desired design is put on to the screen and the chosen material is put below. Ink is forced through the stencil onto the material.

Does not produce fine detail.

(Usually) one colour used.

Used to print posters, t-shirts.
