OCR and OMR

Optical character recognition, OCR, is technology that allows the user to convert different types of documents, such as scanned paper, into an editable format. For example, if you have a document that requires edits but you do not have the original file you can use OCR, a regular scanner is not capable of doing this. Once you have this file scanned you can begin your edits in a word processing program (e.g. Microsoft word). An advantage of this is not having to type
