Mitosis

Mitosis 

Uses of this type of cell division; growth and repair, asexual reproduction, producing genetically identical cells.

Mitosis is done by all cells other than gametes and it has four stages ( in this order)

Prophase (remember it as Prophase = Prepares the genetic material to devide.)
the DNA coils up to form chromosomes it becomes prominent and becomes visible the nuclear membrane disintegrates and the nucleolus vanishes spindle fibres start to form and the centrioles go to the poles of the cell

Metaphase  (remember as Metaphase =chomatids Moves to the Middle of the cell)
