Medicine through time

In prehistoric times people lived in two different ways: Farmers and Hunter-gatherers.

 The word prehistory means before writing.

Hunter-gatherers
(life expectancy around 19-25)

• They are nomads which means they move from place to place.( on the move)
• They lived in small groups where everyone is equal and there is no king.
• Used simple technology- spears, axes, bow and arrow.
• Had no paper and didn’t write.

Keeping on the move avoids some disease…
