  • The principles of welfare have been preserved
  • The emphasis on education aims to widen opportunity
  • There is some regulation on large-scale industries in the public interest (since the banking crisis for example)

Trade unions are NOT socialist, because TUs only tinker with the system, whereas socialists want to overhaul the system.
