Weak Analogy
We cannot assume that everyone understands that the world is formed regularly and with a purpose
- characteristics of design may be obvious in a watch but not in the world
- not right to draw conclusions from nature and from machines - little similarity
Order in the World
- order in the world does not necessarily mean that someone created the world
- we do not have experience of order in other worlds, this limits the argument
- there may be other worlds with more order than ours
Order is necessary
- Hume believed that order is necessary in the world
