At birth we can tell the sex of a child by the genitals - primary sexual characteristics. At puberty your body changes to one of a sexually mature adult.
At puberty your sex hormones cause your secondary characteristics to develop
Males:
- Voice breaks
- Hair grows on face/body
- Body becomes more muscular
- Genitals develop
- Testes start making sperm
Females:
- Breasts develop
- Pubic hair…
