Global Biodiversity.

The total number of species on Earth, the estimates vary between 5 million and 100 million, most recently about 14 million. Different scientists use different techniques, little is known about some groups, e.g. bacterium. Biodiversity varies in different parts of the world most at the equator and decreases towards the poles. Rainforests are largely unexplored.

Climate change occurs naturally, but at the moment it is believe that humans are currently causing it it affects:

  • Biodiversity.
  • Spread of disease.
  • Agricultural patterns.
