Weather and Climate

The difference between weather and climate

The weather reflects the short-term conditions of the atmosphere while the climate is the average daily weather for an extended period of time at a certain location.

Factors influencing microclimates (BAGS: Buildings, aspect, ground surface, shelter)

The microclimates of a region are defined by the moisture, temperature, and winds of the atmosphere near the ground, the vegetationsoil, and the latitude, elevation, and season.
