1. Continents appear to fit together. E.g. East Coast of South America and western coast of Africa. 

2. Rock and mountain correlation: Geological similarities between different countries. E.g. Scotland and eastern coast of North America.

3. Fossil correlation: Same fossils in different countries. E.g. Mesosaurus only lived in shallow water but found on western coast of Africa and eastern coast of South America.
