Euthanasia

Euthanasia- a gentle and easy death to end someone suffering from a painful, terminal disease who has little quality of life

The Law- in Britain it is illegal, in the Netherlands it is legal if a patient is in a great amount of suffering, doctor's agreement, other alternatives

• Voluntary Euthanasia- ending life painlessly when someone in great pain asks for death
• Non-Voluntary Euthanasia- ending someone's life when they are unable to ask, but you have good reason for thinking they would want you to do so
