Development during pregnancy

1.Right after fertilisation - The combination of egg and sperm is called a zygote. The zygote divides into two cells, the four, then eight etc.

2. At 4 days - Blasocyst - The ball of cells hollows itsself out. Its now a blastocyst. It is ready to implant in the lining of the uterus.

3. At 4 weeks -embryo - Its an embryo now, implanted and connected to the mother by the umbilical cord. Its got a head and a heart. Little buds appear which grow into arms and legs. The bones and organs start…
