Deindividuation is a psychological state where one has lost their self awareness this can lead to aggressive behaviour .for example in a Group One may lose the individual identity and gain the social identity of the group. within a crowd people tend to feel anonymous as they don't feel they can be distinguished from others they become D individuated. in this situation so suggestability can also occur people are more likely to go along with the suggestions of others rather than behave independently. also experienced contagion individuals act as one body and adopt the behaviour of others . responsibility is assigned to the group rather than own self and aggressive behaviour is more likely.
