To Kill A Mockingbird Characters!!

Scout:
The story is narrated by Scout, who is 6 at the beginning of the novel and nine when the story ends. The language used in the book is adult in it's style, because Scout is remembering memories from her childhood, the whole story could be thought of as one big flashback. It is interesting that whilst the story is set in the 1930's and that at the time Harper Lee would have been seven in 1933. She therefore is contemporary with Scout.
Scout is an intelligent, lively, tom-boyish girl who enjoys doing all the things her brother, Jem and Dill do. She dislikes school and lets her feelings be known to her teacher. Scout is very close to her father (Atticus) who wants her to realise she should use her head and not her fists.
