Causes of Down Syndrome; 

Down syndrome is a chromosomal disorder 

The result of an extra chromosone (chromosome 21)

Usually cells contain 46 chromosomes- 23 from the mother and 23 from the father 

Down syndrome causes all or some of the cells in an individual's body to contain 47 chromosomes instead of 46 

There's an extra copy of chromosome 21- which is responsible for the
