Biology is the study of living organisms.
All living organisms have seven characteristics in common:
Movement
Respiration
Sensitivity
Growth
Reproduction
Excretion
Nutrition
All living oranisms consist of cells. Some, for example bacteria, only consist of one cell and are described as unicellular whilst the rest contain many cells and are described as multicellular.
