- Assuming there is a link between biological closeness and likeihood of developing depression. Studies show it seems to run in families and increased risk in first-degree relatives of people with unipolar depression.
- General comment on genetic knowledge: similar DNA, lead to coding of similar amino acids, similar proteins = and lead to less neurotransmitters = developing depression
