Characteristics of God 

• Omnibenevolent (all-loving)

"For God so loved the World that he gave his only Son" - John 3:16

• Omnipotent (all-powerful) 

"With God all things are possible" - Matthew 19:26 

• Omnipresent (everywhere at once)

"The eyes of the Lord are in every place" - Proverbs 15:3

• Omniscient (all-knowing) 

"You know when I sit and when I rise" - Psalm 139:2

• A creator of the world and life itself 

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" - Genesis 1:1

"You knit me together in my mother's womb" - Psalm 139:2

• The only God

"The Lord our God, our Lord is One" - Old Testemnant 

• Eternal 

"The Lord is an everlasting God" - Isiah 40:28

• Judge - he decided whether a person goes to Heaven or Hell

"God is a righteous judge" - Psalm 7:11 

He is also a just and fair judge 

The Holy Trinity - God is one person in three parts

• Father

This is the idea that God is a Father figure to Christians, who wants to be in a relationship with them. 'Father' implies and all-loving and compassionate God with intentions of love and care for humanity. God the 'Father' is the God referred to throughout the Bible.
