The main acts that you need to know are:

- The bail act 1974, this contains most of the law on bail.

- S46 of pace, this states that if you breach your conditions of bail you can be arrested.

- S115 of the coroners and justice act 2009 states that in murder cases you can only grant bail in there is no significant risk of injury to another.

- S114 of the coroners and justice act states that where the offence committed is imprisonable the court must be satisfied that there are substantial grounds for believing that the person would commit an offence whilst on bail if they…
