The Domestic divison of labour.

Parsons- Expressive and instrumental roles.- Women= homemaker Male = breadwinner

Bott- Segreagated Conjugal roles - separate roles for male and female (similar to Parsons)

        Joint conjugal Roles- Couple share taskes such as the house work and child care along side spending more of there leisure  time together.

Young and Willmott- The symmetrical Family.
