Asteroid on collision course with our little blue planet.  Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck (download the live wallpaper with favorite actors from the best films) meet it halfway and try to blow it up.  If this sounds familiar to you, then you're not alone. 

Getting back to unreality, Armageddon is an exciting film.  It would be very easy to say that it borrows heavily from the action-movie handbook.  For example, the film employs the classic "blue wire or red wire?" dilemma.  The appearance of the dilemma was nauseating in Air Force One, but the audience may be dead to it now.  For the record, the only times such a dilemma was interesting, were in The Abyss for its irony: blue emergency lighting turned both wires blue; and Goldfinger for…
