Method:
- 36 boys and 36 girls with a mean age of 52 months, took part in the study, which used a matched participants design and featured 3 conditions
- Condition 1: Children observed agressive adult models playing with a Bobo Doll. e.g. hitting it with a mallet
- Condition 2: Children observed non-agressive models playing with other toys and ignoring the doll
- Condition 3: This was a control condition where the children had no exposure to the models.
