Quick Editorial note: These are AOS notes I worte in class and thought would be useful, its particular to the poetry I am studying in class, thats the aspects of comedy Betjeman poetry (for anyone interested.)

A01 – Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation.

7 MARKS

o   Make it well structures, extra marks for linking paragraphs and letting the piece flow.

o   INTRO, MAIN BODY/ ARGUMENT, CONCLUSION.

P – Point

E – Evidence

E – Explain

E – Evaluate – alternative points of view, use words such as “however”, “in comparison”

L – Link – Link paragraphs…
