Previously the idea of tragedy was only used in the context of kings and queens, these ideas are archaic as tragedy is more applicable to the common man. An audience may watch the play and personally resonate with the characters to create a more intense 'fall' when the catastrophe occurs. 

 Every Tragedy, must have six parts, which parts determine its quality—namely, Plot, Characters, Diction, Thought, Spectacle, Melody.”
