  • Close ended questions restrict interviewees from what they really wish to say 
  • Little freedom to explain questions or clarify misunderstandings
  • Lieing or exaggerating

  • Having to draw questions in advance so have already decided what is importance; not coincide with what the interviewee thinks is important
  • Doesnt reflect the interviewees concerns and priorities 
  • Losing valuable insight
  • Snapshots taken at one time, fail to
