The main objective associated with private sectors within the tourism industry is making a profit through high levels of income. This means that the money they make is directed straight back into the business finances and does not benefit the local communities or host population where the organisation is located. Examples of private agents include hotel developers, retail, leisure complexes and entertainment organisations. Private companies and organisations are not appreciated by local and host communities as they are constantly developing and as they do so the locals are losing out on vital opportunities of marketing and selling their own independent services to tourists and therefore their personal income is very limited.
