  • The process of  'differentiation

Notes:

  • Specialised cells = cells that have a specific job in the body
  • Specialised cells have adaptations that make it perfect for its job
  • Differentiation = the process by which cells become specialised

Specialised cells examples:

Red blood cell: Transports oxygen from the lungs to the body tissues for aerobic respiration.

Adaptations: Contains haemoglobin
