Properties of water
- Hydrogen Bond- A weak interaction that occurs when molecules that contain a negative charge bond to a positive charged hydrogen.
- Covalent Bond- Bond formed by a shared pair of electrons
- Alot of energy is needed to increase the temperature, Hydrogen bonds restrict movement of molecules so this keeps the temperature stable.
- Ice is less dense than water. When water cools density increases until 4 celcisus then the density decreases so ice can float on water.
- High boiling point
