Advantages = patterns are revealed leading to a conclusion

Disadvantages = Some detail is lost

Quantiles  Q1 = n/4 if this in a non-integer, use the next number, if it is an integer the value is between that one and the next.

                  Q2 = n/2

  Q3 = n x 3/4
