RS - Abortion and Animal rights teachings

• God has a plan for every life
• If you believe life begins at conception, then abortion is considered murder
• A mothers life is more important than a fetus
• (two ways to look at it) - you should not have an abortion as you should love your child (abortion is murder OR sometimes having an abortion is the most loving thing to do

"In your book were written all the days of my life, before I even had them"

"Do not kill"

"If men who are fighting...you are to take a life for a life"

"Love your neighbour as you love yourself"

• Killing your children is a great sin
• Do not have an abortion for financial reasons
• No one who has an abortion/performs an abortion will go to heaven

"Slay not your childen...the killing of them is a great sin"

"Do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We shall provide for both you and them. Killing them is a serious blunder"

"No one who severs the relationship of the womb will enter paradise

God said that man should rule over all the animals on the world

A good man looks after animals

Humans are allowed to eat anything that moves

"Let us make man in our image...and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth"

"A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal"

"Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you"

Animals live in communities like us - we should not remove them from their communities (pets/hunting)

Allah made humans in change of the world to test how they would use that power 

You should not kill anything, not even a sparrow, if it is not for a proper reason

"There is not an animal that lives on Earth, nor a being that flies on its wing, which is not living in communities like you"

"It is He who has made you His agents...So He may test you in the way you use the gifts He has give you."

"If someone kills a sparrow for sport, the sparrow will cry out on the Day of Judgement "O Lord! That person killed me for nothing! He did not kill me for any useful purpose"
