The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

The regulations for NMC:

  • Make sure that the nurses and midwives have the correct qualifactions and skills in this job role. 
  • The Nurses and midwives have to set standards of practice and skills in the job role.
  • The nurses and midwives can challenge discrimation also review their pratice yearly.

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN)

RCN regluations are:

  • They will need to set out all the principles of nursing pratice.
  • They need to make sure that they accountabilty of practitioners.
  • they will need to support nurses diversity in nursing.

The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC regulations are:

  • Conduct and ethics 
  • Performance and efficiency 
  • Character and health 
  • Education and training

The General Medical Council (GMC)

GMC regulations are:

  • They need to decide what doctors are qualified to work in HSC setting.
  • Need to set the standards that the doctors need to follow.
  • Take action to prevent doctors from putting the saftey of paitents at risk.
