Jesus says we should avoid violence and even 'if someone strikes you on the right cheek' we should refuse to retailate and offer the other cheek. Jesus doesn't want us to be deffensive he wants us to love. Love is strong and couragous enough to forgive as Jesus wants us to forgive,

Some people follow this rules and believe in revange because God said thta. But Jesus says it's wrong and insted of fighting we should 'turn the other cheek'.

Jesus laid down his life to make peace between God and sinners and when we carry the message of peace we are the peacemakers therefore we shall not fight.

Jesus explained to the crowd listening to his Sermon on the mount that we should love our neighbours as it is the law of the God but we should also adhere to the real meanin of the rule and love our enemies as well as our neighbours.

Jesus says that only those who are faultless have the right to judhe/punish others but if you sin, what right do you have to judge people?

God looks forward to the time of peace and he knows people have no use of weapons.
