Loci for a fixed line

For a fixed line, the Loci should be oval shaped. For example, if the question was 'Draw the locus of a point that remains 4cm from line AB' You would need to:

• Draw 2 parallel lines 4cm away from either side of the line
• Place a compass on ends of line AB and draw a semi-circle 4cm away from the line
