Loci on 2 fixed lines (an angle)

For 2 fixed lines, the Loci should be running through diagonally. For example, if the question was 'Draw the locus of the point that remains equidistant (equal distant) from lines AC and AB' To do this, you need to:

  • Place compass at A and draw an arc, crossing both arms
  • Place compass on each intersection, drawing arcs the intersect
  • Draw straight line from A to point of intersection
