Learning Theory GRAVE

Limitations:

Harlow & Lorenz's findings counter the theory weakening the validity as there is opposing evidence against it - can't be measuring attachment for sure.  

Schaffer and Emmerson's findings counter this theory as they found that it didn't matter who fed the babies the most, rather who spent time with them the most - weakens assumption of the theory.

Learning Theory is reductionist as it only focuses on how food is the driving force behind how attachments form, leaves out other factors such as reciprocity and interactional synchrony.
