The importance of recognising different individual needs and of ensuring equity in terms of access, participation and benefits for all children and their families.
Cultural diversity in childcare provides a range of opportunities for children and families to celebrate differences. It's one aspect of diversity, which also embraces differences in gender, disabilities, age, social, and economic backgrounds
Childcare providers must ensure that every child at their setting is included. Every child is unique and will develop at their own pace, so it is not about treating all children in exactly the same way but treating each child fairly and paying attention to their individual interests and needs.
