Ecotourism - Case Study.

Looking at the Yachana Ecolodge and what it does that makes it an Eco-resort.

?

The Yachana Ecolodge.

The Yachana Ecolodge in the Amazon Rainforest is a guest house where a small number of ecotourists can stay. It's set in it's own 1200-hectare section of the rainforest.

Each room has a shower, safe drinking water and a view of the river.

The local people work in the kitchen, dining room, gardens or as guides of the area.

The lodge offers a range of eco activities: bird watching, trekking, canoeing, making pottery, visiting a research satation and swimming in the river.
