Xenophon XV:

  • Ephors don't stand when the king enters, but stay seated on special thrones. They make an oath to follow the king as long as he follows the law.

Thucydides 85 - 87:

  • Same Ephor that make pro-war speech took the shouting vote and then made them stand on seperate sides. (Forcing segregation makes people more likely to go to the side with more people)
