The Carbon Cycle
All living things have carbon in. Carbon is constantly being recycled and passed on through
living things; this is known as the carbon cycle.
Plants contain carbon in their leaves and roots, from photosynthesis when they absorb
CO. They use the oxygen to make glucose and the carbon that is left over is stored in the
plant.
A cow will eat the plants leaves and when it does it takes in the carbon which is in the
plant.
