ADULTHOOD
Around 8 hours of sleep needed, 25% REM.
Sleep disorders such as insomnia occur more.
During middle age, a shallowing and
shortening of sleep may occur.
Decrease in stage 4 sleep and becomes harder

Factors such as caffeine, alcohol & lack of
