Japan Earthquake
The Japan earthquake triggered the tsunami
creating the deaths and most damage. Not
saying that the earthquake did not cause any
damage either because it did. The earthquake
reached a very high 9.0 on the Richter scale.
The epicentre of the quake was 32 kilometres
below sea level. The northern half of the
country sits on the Eurasian plate and the
southern half sits on the pacific tectonic plate.
